There Comes A Day....

As we walk along the path of life
there are many obstacles,
things that hold us back and
keep us from realizing our
hopes and dreams.

Then, one day, with no apparent reason,
it hits us and we stand in defiance of
the (accepted, expected) odds and,
stomping our feet, and gritting our teeth,
with fists clenched in passionate determination
and we scream, at the very top of our voice,

"That's it! I've had it! I ain't doin' this any more!"

..... and in that moment, in that holiest of
all holy moments ... we are reborn.

We realize that we are better than our current results,
whatever they may be, that we have been selling
ourselves short for far too long and the same old song,
the same old ways of doing things
just doesn't make it any more.

In that moment, we look around and we see things with
eyes reborn to seeing. We hear with ears reborn to
hearing. We see and hear, we feel what life was
meant to be .... and we can never go back to the way
we had been. And in that moment...
